Account book, 1765-1772.

Consists of inventories, invoices, and miscellaneous accounts relating to Marshall's business. The volume opens with an inventory of stock on hand belonging Christopher Marshall & Son when the partnership of Christopher and Charles Marshall commenced on March 1, 1765. Both the inventory and subsequent invoices list drugs by name. Such additional items as teas, bottles, corks, vials, bags of pepper, paints and paint brushes, linseed oil, newspapers, and magazines are mentioned. Invoices also record freight, shipping, brokerage, and insurance charges.
